Q: What do I get when I come to costume distribution?2022-04-28T16:50:29-04:00

A: You will receive your costume box, along with all costume pieces, a Mirage Goody Bag, filled with carnival essentials and sponsored products and your Mirage Wristband and Mug. Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will not be served.

Q: What does Mirage’s all-inclusive package include?2022-04-28T20:54:41-04:00

A: Mirage’s all-inclusive package includes premium alcoholic & non-alcoholic drink, meals, and security.

Q: What time does Mas begin?2022-04-28T20:57:19-04:00

A: The band leaves the meeting point at 10am on Carnival Tuesday.

A: The starting point is located at the Solidarity Car Park – be sure to check your masquerader booklet for specifics!

A: The band lineup is published in the Masquerader Booklet, which masqueraders receive at costume distribution.

Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?2022-04-28T16:47:45-04:00

A: Your deposit must be paid upon registration, otherwise your order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled. Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection, and can be paid for upon collection (CASH ONLY), if we are contacted prior.   

Q: I missed my collection date – what do I do?2022-04-28T16:46:49-04:00

A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collecting on their designated day. 

Q: When do I collect my costume?2022-04-28T16:46:29-04:00

A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and social mediaAll costumes must be collected by Carnival Friday, July 3rd. All uncollected costumes will be resold

Q: I’m unable to collect my costume… Can another person collect on my behalf?2022-04-28T16:46:18-04:00

Yes, please send us an email at registration@miragecarnival.com providing authorization, along with person’s name, collection on your behalf. 

Q: What do I need for costume registration?2022-04-28T16:45:54-04:00

For registration, the following must be provided: 

Sizes 

  • Ladies:  Bra Size (34A, B, C,), Hipband Size (in inches), Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L) 
  • Ladies:  Bra Option (Bra, Wholepiece, Monokini) 
  • Ladies: Bottom Piece option (Bikini, Thong, High Waist) 
  • Men:  Waist Size (in inches) 

Deposits:
Female Backlines or Males – EC$260 (US$100)
Frontlines – EC$500 (US$192)
Section Leaders – EC$1000 (US$385) 

Q: Where can I view MIRAGE’S costumes?2022-04-28T16:44:44-04:00

Mirage’s costumes are on display in our Band House during opening hours.  Costumes may also be viewed via our online galleries on our website or social media feeds. 

Q: What are the Band House opening hours and location?2022-04-28T16:44:34-04:00

MIRAGE’S band house is open Wednesday, 11am – 4pm and on Saturdays, 11am – 1 pm. We are located upstairs Gonsalves Liquors, corner of Middle and Melville St, Kingstown.
